Say that title fifty-five times fast. This one is cropped to the Fibonacci Ratio, and is an example of the ratio within nature as the doohickies on the daisy spiral outward from the center. Geeky, eh?
The doohickies would be disk flowers: the daisy is actually a composite flower (family Asteraceae) composed of lots of tiny flowers, of two varieties: disk flowers make up the central part, and ray flowers make up the "petals".
