E. is one of the cutest kids I've ever known. He always has a smile ready, and seems very confident. A little kiss of light from my pop up flash brings a catch light into E.'s eye and lightens him in the shade a little bit.

I like this shot. The background is perfectly blurred with E. standing out as vibrant as the colors on this shirt. Was there any work done in photoshop, or was it just the camera?
ReplyDeleteQueen Esther, Thanks for the compliment. All the blurring of the background was done in camera--it's called bokeh, and its' a result of a shallow depth of field (wide aperture, low f-stop number).
ReplyDeleteWith software I did add a vignette, darkening the edges of the picture, otherwise, it's all natural.
