This portrait was made rather quickly. The setting sun was blasting through the west facing window, filling the conservatory with warm light. A couple of preliminary shots showed that it was just a little too much, though. A huge diffuser was placed in front of the window, softening the light across K.'s features. Nikon D90, 50mm lens, f/1.8.
